The resort features two award-winning 18-hole golf courses, the Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, and the Tom Weisfopf-designed Waikoloa Kings' Golf Course.
 
The Waikoloa Beach Resort offers more dining and shopping options than any other resort on the coast. The King's Shops features a blend of upscale boutiques and fine dining restaurants such as Roys' and Merriman's Market Café. Retail brands include Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Tommy Bahama, and Coach to name a few. The Queen's Marketplace is a Hawaiian family-style shopping destination with brand-name stores like Pac Sun, Quicksilver, and Sun Glass Hut.
 
The Island Gourmet Market offers fresh seafood, meat, and locally grown produce. Dining options include Romano's Macaroni Grill, Charley's Thai Cuisine, and Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar plus a food court with numerous faster food options.
